Frank Guo
Hi, my name is Frank Guo and I'm 25 years old. I was born in New York City but I lived in Toronto for most of my life. In 2017, I finished my four-year degree in geography and city studies, with a minor in GIS at UofT Scarborough.
As a student, some of my fondest memories were serving as secretary and executive for the Geography and City Studies Student Association for two years, participating in an international city-building workshop in Tokyo, Japan, working as a mapping assistant for the East Scarborough Storefront and doing extensive research in qualitative geographical methods, environmental assessment and urban design.
Currently, I'm outside of academia and working in commercial real estate and establishing professional experience in the working world.
I consider myself to be a jack-of-all-trades and I actively embrace the values that come with being a modern millennial. I hope that my unique and relatable perspective growing up in Scarborough, instills a moral imperative towards environmental stewardship and mitigating the effects of climate change.
