

Melisa Tica
Melisa is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, University of Toronto. Previously, Melisa was employed by the House of Commons where she served as the Executive Assistant to the Member of Parliament for Etobicoke Centre. She primarily advised the Member of Parliament on community-level economic development, health, and transportation policies and regulatory issues. Before her employment with the Member of Parliament, Melisa obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Politics and Governance with a minor in Environment and Urban Sustainability from Ryerson University. Melisa brings a well-rounded perspective to policy analysis and program evaluation through a combination of professional, voluntary, and academic experience. She is passionate about the environment and urban sustainability and using community-centered approaches to inform policy and program development.
